About the Recipe
Sharing another wonderful customer idea!
Some time ago, we met Danny at the Peoria Riverfront Market, where he returned for our Creamy Curry Dip Mix. He shared with us how he used the dip to make a tasty chicken salad. Who would have thought?? Danny did!
So simple! Just combine prepared creamy curry dip, chicken, veggies, fruits, and nuts--whatever you like! We later shared Danny's idea with another customer--and she now uses it to make a savory chicken salad she loves!
Well, we HAD to make some for ourselves! We used celery, red onion, green apple, sliced almonds, baked chicken breast (one pound), a tablespoon of sugar, and salt and pepper to taste. THEN we put it on two beautifully, delicious croissants courtesy of Bernardo from Panaderia Ortiz Bakery!
Oh, my! I already have plans for my next batch using rotisserie chicken, cranberries, Vedalia onion...
Definitely a MUST TRY! Thanks so much for sharing, Danny!
