BACON RANCH STUFFED MUSHROOMS



My husband loves these stuffed morsels! We hope you do, too!


INGREDIENTS:

Sarah Beth's Homemade Dips Classic Ranch Dip Mix

8 oz brick of cream cheese

8 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese

5 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

2 T milk

20+ Baby Bell mushrooms (depends on size)



DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Fry bacon. Leave just a little bit of grease in skillet. Set bacon aside to cool, and then crumble.
  3. Remove stems from mushrooms, discard any tough parts, and chop finely.
  4. Sauté in skillet on medium heat just until cooked. Set aside.
  5. Soften cream cheese and blend until smooth. Add 2 T milk and mix well. 
  6. Cut dip mix package above the seal. Place dip mix in a small bowl and mix well. Add 1/2 dip mix to cream cheese and blend well (2 T + 2 tsp). Save remaining mix (can be used to make 1/2 batch of dip or to season another recipe). 
  7. Stir in chopped stems, crumbled bacon, and 1C sharp cheddar cheese until well blended.
  8. Stuff mushrooms and place in/on a greased 9 x 11 pan or large cookie sheet. Top with remaining sharp cheddar cheese.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  10. Enjoy!
