For all of our Timmy's Butt Rub fans out there---a MUST TRY new recipe! Perfect for NEW YEAR'S EVE--or day, or the day after, or next week, or anytime...
INGREDIENTS:
Sarah Beth's Homemade Dips Timmy's Butt Rub: Not Just for Butts!
14 oz Hillshire Farms Little Smokies
1 lb bacon
brown sugar
shallow baking dish (9 x 12)
toothpicks
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cut pound of bacon into thirds (do not pull apart before cutting).
- Wrap each Little Smokie with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- Place in baking dish. Smokies will make one layer in a 9 x 12 baking dish.
- Liberally shake Timmy's Butt Rub on to smokies.
- Generously sprinkle on a layer of brown sugar, and sprinkle again with a bit of rub for good measure!
- Bake for approximately 25 minutes and turn. Continue baking for approximately 20 more minutes until bacon is cooked and sugar becomes sticky in pan.
- Serve right from baking dish, or remove to a platter and flip over so the glistening sugar side faces up. Mmmmmm! Delish!
